Ian Drysdale, Principal

 A Wealth of Experience

Ian has spent 25 years navigating the world of payments. Through his executive leadership, he has optimized organizations and platforms to capitalize on the growth and changes in electronic payments. By defining and executing innovative company and market strategies, Ian has strengthened corporate balance sheets and developed and expanded products and services. 


Driving Performance through Leadership

Ian brings the perspective gained from leading high performing teams for payment leaders as well as emerging companies:


  • Held pivotal executive and senior leadership revenue and product development roles at Elavon (U.S. Bank), First Data (now Fiserv) and Worldpay (now FIS), where his teams substantially contributed to increased revenue and profitability. 
  • Leveraged his industry-specific expertise for the payments division of an emerging player, Zelis, a healthcare technology company. As president, he successfully developed and executed a vision that increased growth, scaled the organization and optimized sourcing.
  • More recently for Kushki, a fast growing Latin American payments leader he advises, Ian provided a comprehensive sales scaling blueprint inclusive of organization, roles, and compensation.
  • Ian is now exclusively an EIR for Great Hill Partners, identifying and pursuing investment opportunities in the financial technology sector and advising its FinTech portfolio companies.
